EDDR Software Releases libdefsEval as Open Source Tool for Debugging OpenAccess Library Definition Files

Austin, TX - June 1, 2017 - EDDR Software, a software company specializing in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) solutions, announced today the launch of libdefsEval. This is a new open source tool for the EDA community to help interpret the lib.defs files used by OpenAccess-enabled applications. libdefsEval is a utility to aid users with debugging the library definitions hierarchy that comes with more complex designs including process design kits (PDKs). libdefsEval helps design engineers and developers find missing files, directories, links, includes, references and recursive paths used in lib.defs files.

Written in C++, utilizing the advantages of the C++ Boost Library (http://boost.org) and other open source projects, this tool provides an efficient method for debugging and accounting for all of the libraries used in an EDA design.
